Synopsis:
After hundreds of years of conflict, humanity has conquered the most fearsome enemy, the vampire hordes. The remaining vampires have been held in isolated reserves, and the human most of the refuge in walled cities run by the Church. The priest, trained as fighters during the war against the deadly vampire, now doing menial jobs, lived in complete isolation and are characterized by their distinctive tattoos, shunned by locals.
When news of vampire attacks and kidnapping of a 18-year-old in a remote area reached the ear of a priest (Paul Bettany), a veteran, this ruling monsignors ask permission to go to the hostage, his nephew. When they refused, against his superiors' orders and sets out to find her before vampire enslaved. In cross-girlfriend joins his nephew, Hicks (Cam Gigandet), a young sheriff and a priest warrior trigger-happy old (Maggie Q) who has supernatural powers battle.
